The Brandon Meyers Norris Penny Bantam AAA Knights baseball team opened the UCT Canada Day Classic with a 7-3 win over the Red River Valley Pirates Friday at Simplot Millennium Park.
"We got two triples in the first inning, which set the tone," Knights coach Faron Asham said. "We had a little but of aggression on the basepaths and forced them into a few errors and the next thing you know we put up Tim McCarver official jersey some numbers."
Luke Whelpton hammered two triples into the power alleys, driving in a pair of runs for authentic Lou Brock jersey Blue Brandon.
